Kolby sits on Santa's lap!!

This was Kolby's first visit with Santa. He did really well.
Kara and Kamille also visited with Santa but Kendall would
not even go near him. I guess we will have to see if Santa still
brings him any toys.

Merry Christmas everyone!!!!!

The fun days of fall

This was the boys in the backyard. They were supposed to be working, raking up leaves etc. Okay so maybe I had them pose for the pictures just a little. We showed Kolby how to throw leaves on Kendall. They both love to be outside with their dad. I love the fall and it wasn't here long enough. I am not ready for the winter.

My Grandpa's

I am lucky enough to still have both of my grandfather's living.

This is my Grandpa Voyce on his 96th birthday. He still gets around pretty well. He loves to go get a burger for lunch. His eye sight is dwindling. His mind is usually still sharp. He remembers everything from many years ago. He misses my grandma very much and can't wait to see her again.
My kids love going to Grandpa's house and sneaking jelly beans and candy corn. Nothing much has changed in that department from when me and my siblings would go to their house. We too would sneak candy and think he wouldn't know who had done it.

This is my Grandpa Stucki at his 90th birthday celebration. He too has sight issues. He can still recognize me by my voice and always has a big hug for everyone. He still tries to make it to all the family functions he can.

I love both of my grandpa's very much and appreciate all that they have done for me and taught me.

Removing Grandma's tree stump

Mom has had a huge tree stump in her front yard for years. Joe decided it was time for it to go. Everyone had thought about doing it but just never had. The kids and my brother Craig helped him prepare the stump for removal. He broke 2 ropes trying to get it out. It would move a little but not come out. They then borrowed the neighbors chains and out it came. We also cut down the dead fruit trees in the back yard. Mom is planting new ones in the spring

Halloween

I have tried to post this 3 times now and hopefully it will work this time.

Here are the kids on halloween. Kamille is a cheerleader, Kendall a knight, Kolby a pumpkin, and Kara is a hillbilly. Joe and I also dressed as hillbillies or Elrod and Shenaenae as some of our kinfolk call us.

Picture Tag

Laura tagged me back. The instructions for this tag are to go into your picture folder. Open the 4th folder and pick the 4th picture and post it. This was at Kamille's 4th birthday party. We really don't have parties though because Joe doesn't get into that sort of thing. Kamille is the one opening the present. Her cousin Chantz is squatting in front of her in his pj's. My mom and dad are in the background on chairs. My dad is examining a toy horse. Kara is the one cut off on the left. My girl's, how they have grown up. I tag Brenda, Marci, Heather, and Heidi.

Kolby's New Discovery

Today started out great. I got the kids off the school and was switching the laundry and grabbing Kolby some clothes when I heard Kolby upstairs crying. I thought he just couldn't find me or something. I went to the stairs and Kolby was heading down them. Upon closer look, I saw that his diaper was off. No big deal, I was getting him dressed anyway. I went up the stairs to take him back up and noticed he had gunk on his hands. Upon examination, the gunk was actually poo!! He had taken his diaper off by himself and tried wiping his bottom. Mind you he is only 17 1/2 monthes old. While I was putting on the new diaper. I noticed he had a little "gunk" on his jammie tops. He was also kind of spitting. I said Kolby did you taste your poo? He nodded and started spitting again. So gross. Luckily, no "gunk" anywhere but in the diaper and on him. I think I better keep him dressed in a straight jacket. No more diaper Hudini.

Kendall's wreck in the Grand Canyon

I somehow missed posting this with the Grand Canyon pictures earlier. This is a picture of Kendall several hours after his big bike wreck. It took us several hours to calm him down enough to get it cleaned up. It doesn't look too bad here. It was much worse when I first saw it. This was the only picture he would let us take of him and he doesn't look too happy with this one.

Joe's Softball Season

Joe is playing on a softball season this year. His brothers (Nathan, Mark, and Matthew) have even come and played with him. These are just some pictures of them trying to hit the ball and of Joe pitching. The kids love going and watching their dad play. Kolby has even learned how to climb the bleachers.

Kara plays softball

Kara has been playing softball again this year.
Her team had two tournament games while we
were in the Grand Canyon but she got to come
back the next week and play with her team for the
last two games. Her team finished 4th in their league.
Go Sluggers!! She usually plays the position of
Rover and likes to hit the ball like her dad.

How did we fit it all in????

Many of you wonder how we fit every thing in when we go camping. It takes much planning and preperation. This is what we looked like as we left Pocatello headed for Salt Lake. You should have seen us on the way home. We had accumulated just a few more things. We also encountered a huge dust storm around Tremonton. It's a wonder we didn't lose anything off the top.

You know you're a Stucki if.....

Elrod, Shanaenae, Cletus, and Eugenia came to enlighten us on a few Stucki-isms. Mullets kept interferring. Business in the front, party in the back.
