Kids fall pictures. Our friend Rachel took our family pictures this year. We love them. I think the ones of the kids are really good. A link to her photo blog is on our blog roll. http://simpleinspirations-byrachel.blogspot.com

A big catch up...

Okay...so what do you do when everything electronic quits working? Well apparently I stopped blogging. Our computer crashed the night of the big storm and I have only had our laptop since. The printer also is fried. Our camera also decided to quit working so no more pictures. Oh yeah, one more, the tv downstairs is freaking out too. So until we can save up for new things, I feel handicapped.

So here comes the summer in review...and I guess it's about time since everyone has the date of my last post memorized. :)

Lagoon with Laura's family

We got a great deal on some Lagoon tickets from Joe's sister that we couldn't pass up so we took a day and went to Lagoon. Little did we know that a small percent chance of rain would mean rain all day. It started raining as we got on our second ride around 2:00 and didn't stop until about 8:00. We had fun though. Kolby started out really good and then decided that bumper cars were the only way to go. I think all the kids loved the bat the best though.

Happy 4th of July

We had an exciting 4th of July... we had my family over for a BBQ. Then the clouds started rolling in and we were hit with a huge storm. It hailed like I have never seen before. These pictures are from after it had ended. We missed getting them taken before the hail started breaking up. It was kind of like a river with ice jams. They closed roads. The paper route was very fun to do the next morning. Kara had to climb fences to get across yards to deliver it to some of our customers. Our road is finally dry this morning. The water did start to come into our garage before the water broke through the hail. Our roof also now has a leak. These pictures are of our street right in front of our house. The first two pictures are of the clouds before the storm hit. Joe thought they looked like funnel clouds. It dumped 1.5" in about 30 min.

Shoshone Falls

We took the family to Shoshone Falls 2 weeks ago. They were just beautiful. I have been there before but this time was better. There was a mist that got you wet up in the parking lot. There was so much water coming over. Just amazing. We ran into my cousin Brittani and her family while we were there. Brilliant minds think alike. Kolby and the kids had to climb up these stairs. and then run down the path next to them and do it all over again. We also drove by the Twin Falls temple.

I am starting a second blog!!!

I have been thinking about doing this for some time now and finally just decided to do it. As some of you know, I have been couponing now for about 4 months. I have always couponed but now I am doing it the better way. http://clippingcentsibly.blogspot.com

April 20, 2009

Joe has been wanting to get one of these for awhile and he was offered one at a great deal. (Thanks Bart and Colbe.) As you can see from the pictures the kids are very excited. They can't ride it without a helmet though. So in order to have some fun with it until the helmets are bought, they have been pushing each other on it. That got to hard so they took Bella's leash and pulled each other on it. Talk about determination. They can't wait to go camping now.

Dad and Kid Day

We decided we needed to take advantage of some of the things our community offers so the kids and Joe had a great day. The Home Depot has a free kids demonstration day the first Saturday of every month. This month it was bird houses. Even Kolby got in on the action. Then it was off to the dump to get rid of some paint at the free day there. My mom and I had taken my grandpa to the Dr. so now we all met at McDonald's for lunch (not free :) ). Then they went to a rock show at the fairgrounds. They got to bring home some free rocks. Lastly they stopped at the pet store and walked through the petting zoo there. They had a fun day. Back at home they played store with their new rocks and Home Depot aprons.

Kolby and his bike

This is Kolby and his bike. This bike was handed down from his cousin Chantz to Kendall and now to Kolby. He loves it. His little legs aren't quite long enough but he tries hard. He will just grab the handle bars and push it down the sidewalk. He wants to be BIG right now. He has such determination. He even posed for the picture and said cheese.

The meaning of my name

I got this off a friend's blog and thought it was kind of fun. Some fits, some doesn't. See what you think. You can find your's on http://www.blogthings.com/whatsyournameshiddenmeaningquiz/.

What's Your Name's Hidden Meaning?-->
You Are Level-Headed and Trustworthy
You are fair, honest, and logical. You are a natural leader, and people respect you.You never give up, and you will succeed... even if it takes you a hundred tries. You are rational enough to see every part of a problem. You are great at giving other people advice. You are a very lucky person. Things just always seem to go your way.And because you're so lucky, you don't really have a lot of worries. You just hope for the best in life. You're sometimes a little guilty of being greedy. Spread your luck around a little to people who need it.You are relaxed, chill, and very likely to go with the flow. You are light hearted and accepting. You don't get worked up easily.Well adjusted and incredibly happy, many people wonder what your secret to life is.You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing. You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long. You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start. You are friendly, charming, and warm. You get along with almost everyone. You work hard not to rock the boat. Your easy going attitude brings people together. At times, you can be a little flaky and irresponsible. But for the important things, you pull it together.

Kolby turns 2--from baby to little boy

Kolby James Bigler has been such a joy in our lives. He's has blessed our family in so many ways in just the two short years he has been with our family. I thought he was going to be dark headed like Kara so I would have two blondes and two brunettes but he is such a blondie now. He has always had such a cute little attitude. He loves his brother and sisters but he has a huge bond with Kamille. He will often go to her over me. He wants to be such a big kid. He is trying to ride Kendall's old bike. I am afraid he will learn to ride as fast as Kendall did (he rode a bike with no training wheels at age 3). He is very independant. He has really started talking lately and sang Happy Birthday to himself. We love you Kolby. Happy Birthday!!! Pictures are birth announcement. 3 months old, blessing day, loves scrambled eggs.

Update for 2009

I was told I needed to update our blog so I guess it has been a while. Life has been crazy in the Bigler household. We have been just going, going, going. We have three paper routes that we deliver every morning. The girls are into friends and dance. Kendall has cabin fever and just wants to get out and play. Kolby is growing and learning new things all the time. Kara just turned 11 and will be going to 6th grade next year in the middle school. She is very excited. Kamille will soon be 10 and can't wait to be 16. Kendall is 7 and can't wait for summer. Kolby will be 2 the end of the month. Joe is still keeping track of us all. Julie is busy spending and saving money at the same time. She just loves learning to coupon and getting things for free. She has saved a lot of money and doubled our food storage for a small amount.

Kendall's 1st grade program

Kendall had his 1st grade program last week. The kids really did a great job. Two of these pictures show a little white bunny. It is Kendall. He had a small part for one of the songs and did a great job. We didn't ever get a front view of him though. He wouldn't look at the audience for very long. The kids sang songs about the things they were doing all year. Good job 1st graders. Great job Kendall.
